Girdwood to Kantishna in Style

This last weekend we drove the 200 miles up to the park entrance, picked up our pass and then drove 90 miles on the restricted park road. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. Everyone at KAT air was so nice and happy we drove out. The weather was on and off rain, but we stayed warm in our gear. My favorite part of the trip was when we looked over and there was a herd of caribou running at the same speed we were driving (25mph). It was so awesome and kinda hard to explain. The looks of the snotty bus drivers was great too! We saw a nice Toklat Grizzly, and I actually got a little scared when he showed some curiosity in us. We had a great trip and the bike ran great. Definitely up there on my list of cool things I have done in my life. Here are some pictures of the trip. Keep in mind it is slightly hard to take pictures on the back of the bike. Enjoy!

OE and I on our way to Kantishana!

The bike fully packed somewhere in Denali.

Another view of the park.

This is my view.
